API 650 TANK EPC PACKAGE FOR SPG POWER PLANT

A.K.K. Engineering was awarded a contract by CTCI Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) project for API-650 storage tanks owned by  Southern Power Generation (SPG) a joint -venture company between TNB and SIPP Energy for its new Track 4A, a 1440MW  combined cycle gas power plant in Pasir Gudang, Johor early of this year 2018.

The project consist of the construction for 2 units of  Fuel Oil Tank (ID 28m), 1 unit of Demin Tank      (ID 20.5m), 1 unit of Raw Water Tank (ID 16m), 1 unit of Fire Water Tank (ID 14.48m) and several shop fabricated tanks.

This is the first storage tank project in the Power Plant industry undertaken by the company. AKK is positioning itself  to make this project the first of many more such project in the Power Plant and Oil & Gas industrial sector in the future.

Currently the project is already in its execution stage and is expected to be completed by early of next year. This project marks the strengthening of the company capabilities and growth.
